Job Summary
Job Brief
We are looking for a Drupal Developer responsible for front-end development and theming. This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, etc.) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). The best candidates have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with a responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, with some back-end knowledge, is preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
- 4 to 6 Years of experience in Drupal development with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on Drupal 8 experience.
- Expertise in Drupal core API and custom module development.
- Good knowledge of common Drupal modules such as Views, Services, CTools, Panels, etc.
- Experience in extending them through custom Drupal programming.
- Working knowledge of available Drupal hooks and APIs, Drush, Features.
- Good experience with migrations (or having very good knowledge of how data migrations are handled in Drupal).
- Proficiency in web technologies e.g. PHP, jQuery, AJAX.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Working knowledge of using git/svn.
- Caching mechanisms
- Unit tests
- Site Optimization and performance
