Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITES: ? Daily 5S & safety monitoring in the plant
? Ensuring use of PPEs
? Accident, near miss monitoring & reporting
? Daily monitoring environment concerns in the plant
? Ensuring adherence to OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001
? Maintaining availability of all PPEs
? Ensuring safety & environment related compliance by company as well as third parties working in the company premises
? Regular monitoring of water usage in the plant
? Ensuring regular updating and checks of the firefighting systems
? Ensure safety training to new joiners & refresher safety trainings
? Safety risk assessment and control
? IMS & EHS Audit compliance
? Evaluation of safety features of new project / installation
? Regular monitoring of emergency preparedness
? Organizing events Safety week & Environment Day
? Raising & maintaining safety awareness and practice
? Supporting in HR team activities
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S): ? MSW /MBA / MPM / Diploma in Industrial Safety ?EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S): ? 6-8 years ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ? Handles Safety of the entire plant. Varroc Lighting Systems, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to a culturally diverse workforce
