Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITES: Coordinate and perform SAP PI Development activities on various IT projects.
Support global IT project management processes, provide weekly status update to ensure programs progress and meet timelines.
Ensure change approval process is followed and information is provided to make timely decisions.
New complex PI map development, testing, and deployment.
Monitor SAP PI translations and message monitoring.
Development of SAP proxies, ABAP program, Web services, API programming and Bank Interfaces.
Handling SAP and Legacy system integration and troubleshooting.
Monitor open tickets related to applicable issues and close or route promptly to support metrics.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S): Bachelor degree and/or combination of education and related experience. ?EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S): 5+ years of SAP PI/PO experience and 2+ years of ABAP experience.
Experience in configuration of adapters such as FILE, SOAP, SFTP, XML, web services, API programming.
Experience with ESR / IR objects on JAVA / ABAP stack.
Experience with complex message map developments, IDOC messages and ABAP Proxies.
Experience in CTS+ transport management and alert configuration.
Experience in integration with SAP modules such as: MM / FI and Bank Interfaces.
Experience with all phases of an implementation including detailed design, build, configuration, testing, and support.
Support maintenance activities such as system restart, Communication channel start / stop, application validations.
ITIL change approval process experience for required change requests and/or maintenance activity.
Experience leading a cross-functional team, ideally an international cross-functional team
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all organizational levels.
Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Knowledge on SAP PI Admin activities, support patches and upgrades.
Automotive / Manufacture Industry experience.
