Infrastructure Architect Job in Vbeyond Corporation

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining the capacity, performance, availability and security of the Envision platform.
• Working with the application development, automation and monitoring teams to ensure the infrastructure continues to support the business-critical services in a fool proof way and also suggest the approach for optimization.
• Participate inproblem solving and escalation handling for Envision Platform issues
• Ensure that the technical performance aspects in the infrastructure environment are optimized, including database, network, storage, VMware and application server performance.
• Double up as configuration managers by stating, applying, and enforcing processes for promoting all infrastructure components from the development environment to the environments of testing, demonstrating and generating.
• Performing lifecycle upgrades of the infrastructure and applications that make up the platform.
• Ensure that all changes to the Envision platform follow our change management processes and comply with requirements of security, compliance and business continuity
• Manage the security of the platform and inter-application information transfers. Ensure optimum uptime for complete network services and servers, establish models to maintain and configure, improve the throughput of the platform.
• Plans capacityand design for infrastructure engineering projects.
• Working with vendors to leverage both technology and resources.
• Maintain all documentation including configuration and process.

Knowledge

Demonstrable technical knowledge and understanding of a wide range of storage, server, network, virtualization and security technologies gained in a primarily Microsoft Windows Server and VMWare environment.

Experience

• 10+ years engineering experience architecting, implementing and supportingcomplex server infrastructures
• Experience in a Managed Service Provider environment or supporting critical high availability services is preferred.

• VMWare vRealize Suite
• Solidfire Storage
• NSX Networking
• AD
