Job Summary
  • Understanding of the Investment Bank technology environment, preferably with specific knowledge of Cash Equities business flows
  • Business Analyst:
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to distil business requirements to succinct functional specifications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Can demonstrate the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively across different stakeholder groups and levels of seniority (business desks, COO, LCD, IT, Ops)
    • Produces high quality documentation and documentation management skills
    • The ability to manage requirements from the inception stage through to implementation and post-implementation operational processes.
    • The ability to manage delivery through multiple teams in different locations.
    • The ability to run multiple work items in parallel and gather requirements across multiple locations
    • Judges priorities well and manages own workload accordingly
    • Good interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead with influence and manage stakeholder expectations
    • Team player with excellent organizational skills. The ability to multi-task, both collaboratively and independently, across many tasks and projects.
    • Strong governance mind-set
  • Comfortable writing own SQL for data queries
  • An understanding of development lifecycle and methodologies
