Job Summary Database Developer (Oracle)
Location: Pune
Eligibility Criteria

IT Degree desirable
10 to 15 years of professional experience

Must Have:

Hands on development using Oracle PL/SQL with experience Oracle Version 10g, 11g, 12c
Performance tune SQL/PLSQL, application programs and instances.
Strong experience with oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning,
Providing technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting support.
Perform design and development of Oracle applications according to project requirements.
Understand project requirements and develop design specifications.
Perform initial design reviews and recommend improvements.
Write clear codes and prepare coding documentations.
Provide technical assistance to other Developers as needed.
Analyze and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner.
Develop Oracle reports, database procedures and UNIX shell scripts.
Modify existing codes to optimize Oracle applications.
Assist in system integration and acceptance testing and perform bug fixes less experienced staffs on programming guidelines.
Develop, design, test and implement complex database programs using Oracle and third party tools.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative and empowered environment
Self-starter, can-do attitude a must in a fast-moving business and technical environment
Ability to translate business requirements into technical design, code, test and deliverablesolutions that meet or exceed the customer\'s expectations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree is CS or related field with at least 8 years of industryexperience

Nice to Have:

Knowledge on Scheduling tools (Control M ; Autosys etc.)
Knowledge on Unix
Good Interpersonal skills with experience of working with people spread across locations / time-zones.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Experience of working in Investment Banking Technology.
Should be able to work independently and within team
Ability to work effectively under pressure, challenging deadlines.
Knowledge of Scrum.
