Role Overview
As a Voice Portal Developer, you will be responsible for authoring, designing, and testing voice applications using conversational AI models like Google Dialogflow (Google CCAI). You will help modernize contact center experiences and implement emerging technologies such as Microservices, GCP, and AWS Lambdas. This role will focus on creating IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems, which are customer-facing applications enabling self-service for billing, tech support, and order management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Test voice applications using Google CCAI Dialogflow or equivalent conversational platforms.
- Modernize Contact Center applications by integrating conversational AI into IVR systems.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver projects throughout the app lifecycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and support.
- Work with Microservices architecture, integrating them with platforms like GCP and AWS.
- Design & Build prototypes during the project scoping stage and contribute to the overall application design.
- Performance testing & monitoring of applications to ensure optimal functionality.
- Create detailed specifications and documentation to guide project timelines and deliverables.
- Participate in Impact analysis and risk management for change requests.
- Follow security best practices during the design, development, and validation of code.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in voice technologies and conversational AI.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Google CCAI Dialogflow or similar conversational AI platforms.
- 1+ years of experience in Microservice Development and Integration using Spring Boot and Spring React.
- 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Cloud Functions.
- Basic understanding of the Contact Center domain.
Preferred
- Experience with other conversational platforms such as Alexa, Google Assistant, Bixby, and Cortana.
- Ability to debug and understand issues using Looker, Kibana Logs, and Grafana visualizations.
