Pcb Designer Job in Versa Drives Private Limited

Responsibilities

• Able to understand the power electronics terms
• Perform layout/PCB design based on the design constrains
• Collaborate with mechanical team to successfully design, validate, and support prototyping
• BOM, assembly, design, and engineering document preparation
• Alternate part identification
• EMS support during prototype and pilot
• Start to finish ownership of layout design, verify, prototype support and high-volume manufacturing
• Awareness of electrical safety requirements and EMC requirements relevant to the design of power converters

Technical Skills

• Schematic capture, BOM preparation and PCB design/layout in Cadence
• Familiarity with PCB layout optimization in terms of stray leakage inductance and clearance and creepage requirements
• Component library management in Cadence
• Wiring harness design, populating, testing, and debugging PCBs
• Handling lab equipment such as scopes, multimeters, power supplies and electronic loads
• Participate in cross-functional project teams to execute upon new product developments
• Perform layout design with deep consideration for reliability, mechanical/thermal/noise requirements, DFM, EMC and regulatory compliance
• Work closely, cooperatively, and effectively as part of a product development team
