JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ruby on Rails Developers can write server-side web-application logic using the open-source programming language Ruby.
• Knowledge of Framework like Model View Controller (MVC), Rails.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.
• Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.
• Integrating data storage solutions.
• Creating back-end components.
• Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
• Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
• Connecting applications with additional web servers.
• Maintaining APIs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience in development & maintaining applications using Ruby on Rails
• Having knowledge of Front End skills HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (and FWS as Angular and React, mainly), etc.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs , HTTPs verbs to connect with back-end web services
• Familiarity with JSON and JWT (JSON Web Tokens) authorization , CSFR
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, Active jobs, Active records etc
• Experience with common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
• Experience with SQL backend, preferably Postgres or MySQL . NoSQL will be considered as additional skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills along with code optimization techniques
• Experience with CI-CD Integration and upgradation along with Docker and Kubernetes
• Deployments [AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure] along with Basic server operations (Unix, Chef, Apache, Load Balancing, DNS)
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Should utilize Ruby/Rails best practices like Mixin, ActiveURL, Async calls and DB migrations
• Should have experience in Agile development methodologies
• Third party integration like payment gateway, SMS services along with WhatsApp, Facebook, Google and Linkedin
