Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

1) Recruitment

a) Getting the manpower requisition from various depts wrt the current vacancies (replacement/new position, if any)

b) Verifying the requisition against sanctioned manpower department wise for both contract & company

c) Explore possibilties for hiring against vacancies.

d) Draft & circulation of notices for worker level vacancies.

e) Tie up with educational institutes for exploring campus recruitments.

f) Tie up with consultants for critical hirings

g) Deciding on interview panel for interviewing prospective candidates.

h) Making salary negotiations with the candidate as per the current salary range for the said position.

i) Taking management approval for the monthly hirings.


2) Contract Manpower Management

a) Managing contractors deployed at plant.

b) Review mapower of contracts for various depts

c) Review manpower assigned under various depts

d) Explore contractors for deployment for meeting sanctioned manpower as and when required. e) Regular interaction with contractors to ensure santioned manpower deployment on day to day basis.

f) Coordinate with Group company on manpower contract references


3) HRD Activities

a) Revision of existing policies on new directive and process upgradation.

b) Formulation of new policies in HR.

c) Formulation of templates and formats wrt to increments, rationalisation, service contracts, circulars, notices, inter office memos etc

d) Preparing and upgrading Organisation structure, Job descriptions etc.

e) ISO documentations


4) Payroll & Compliance management

a) Ensure closing of attendance of all departments by the last day of the month.

b) Approval of leaves in the system in case of administrative reportees and functional reportees on time.

c) Overseeing payroll function.

d) Ensure compliances met on time.

e) Ensure updation of amendments of any new statutory requirement by government

f) Follow up with contractors to ensure compliance of contract workmen within time.


5) Training & Development

a) Ensure training calendar prepared for the year as per ISO requirement.

b) Induction & orientation of new joinees

c) Ensure safety training at plant level on monthly basis.

d) Coordination with external agencies for imparting behavioral trainings to workmen & staff

e) Ensure documentation of training records.


6) Grievance handling

a) Discussing employee issues individually to come up with amicable solutions.

b) Counselling employees for cases of retention and on resignation.

c) Coordinating with Group company for facility related grievances


7) Administration & General management

a)Overseeing Factory Admin. Activities like Gardening, Civil, Housekeeping, Vehicle Parking, Gate movement of employees, Furniture & Fixtures, Seating arrangementof employees. b)Overseeing Indenting of Uniforms, Shoes, Monsoon Gears, etc for employees.

c)Overseeing Health Check Up arrangements for employees on yearly basis.

e) Overseeing Canteen Management.

f) Monthly reporting to management

g) Ensure safety at workplace.

h) Ensure Housekeeping at Office and Peripheral of plant.

i) Oversee Air & Water pollution standards as per MPCB.

Experience Required :

8 to 10 Years
