Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

Skill: IBM Filenet Administration

Key responsibility:

1. Install, configure and support IBM FileNet P8 platform core & Add-on components as mentioned in below table matrix.
2. Able to create Document class, TeamSpace, Property templates, Choice list and Search templates etc.,
3. Well versed with Unix commands to support FileNet on Red Hat Linux environment.
4. Provide new user access on filenet documents as well as remove user access for users as and when required.
5. Follow ITSM procedures and ensure support tickets are raised by Business users (Service Requests/Incidents). Ensure supports tickets are closed as per the defined SLA.
6. Ensure Change Requests are raised and approved before implementing any changes to the FileNet system.
7. Monitor IBM FileNet Event logs on regular basis and take proactive measures (if required).
8. Monitor File Storage Area growth on regular basis and take proactive measures by liaising with the Unix team.
9. Monitor FileNet Text Indexing status on regular basis.
10. Monitor and troubleshoot WebSphere Application servers logs on a regular basis.
11. Monitor Process Engine Event logs and purge old event logs on regular basis (if required).
12. Perform regular health checks and taking corrective actions on all installed software s.
13. Deploy and move applications to Development, Test and Production environment.
14. Perform regular upgrades and fix packs installations as and when required. Coordinate
with database and other infrastructure teams for regular backups (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) as well as before any upgrade activity or fix pack installations are initiated.
15. Work with internal FileNet, Case Manager and BAW development team to deploy the developed solutions/applications.
16. Work with other internal teams i.e., Windows, Network, Middleware, Database, Security and Storage for IBM FileNet connectivity issues.
17. Work with internal Infrastructure teams for any infrastructure related changes/upgrades & maintenance.
18. Generate and provide the Ad hoc reports to internal integrated application teams.
19. Provide required support for Digital Signature solution i.e., DocuSign and Circular with respect to new user access, removing existing user access, user training etc.,
20. Able to raise PMR and follow-up on P1/P2/P3/P4 production issues or requests for product level issues and bugs.

Qualifications

BTech/Any Graduate
