The Responsibilities:

• Strategizes & implements robust Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure with processes and tools.
• Develops & deploys scalable and automated build & test Continuous Integration (CI) Environment.
• Defines & implements Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP) aligned with Global SCMP.
• Defines & implements projects build & test strategies.
• Works with scrum team(s) for seamless consistent software release activities.
• Works across functional (development/testing) and project teams to ensure continuous functioning of build and test environment.
• Integrates necessary plug-ins into CI in support of establishing integrated work environment for project team.
• Defines appropriate automation scripts that promotes efficient build & release work flow.
• Collects CI best practices and disseminate across different product lines and regions.
• Evaluates industry tools that improve the efficiency of the existing CI Infrastructure.
• Interfaces with representatives from other regions for global common alignment in CI practices
• Performs maintenance and troubleshooting of CI Environment.
• Works with IT for setting up necessary infrastructure for CI Environment.
• Works to continuously to improve speed, efficiency and scalability of CI Environment.
• Define and develop the roadmap for continuous testing framework for the Driver information products
• Expertise with test automation tools and strategies for embedded systems
• Expertise with scripting language for test automation (Ex: Python)

Job Requirements:

• Years of Experience: 10 to 15 Years experience in automotive Continuous Integration or related area.
• Degree Strongly Preferred: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Desired Competencies/Experience

• Experience in automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of basic software engineering concepts such as object-oriented programming and design, software configuration management, unit testing, functional testing
• Familiar with AGILE software development values and principles
• Skilled in Python scripting
• Expertise in test automation setup and strategies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Capacity to work well in a team environment
• Enjoyment of troubleshooting, profiling, optimizing and problem solving
