Platform Developer Job in Vistra

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for managing the items on Yardi Voyager backlog recorded as developments, working closely with the Delivery Lead and Yardi Voyager support team
• Managing the design and creation and control key operational Yardi Voyager modules
• Collaborating with the Yardi Voyager support team on any issues relating to data or bug fixes
• Ensure that nothing is deployed to Live without being fully tested and approved
• Day-to-day management of the various Yardi Voyager databases
• Ensure user access is monitored for activity and use of the system
• Work with a reporting specialist to identify reports required by the business for the specialist to develop
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to ensure that the system is working optimally
• Perform audit and security compliance checks, including vulnerability scans and configuration reviews
• Actively identify risks and use effective risk management and reduction techniques
• Drive the annual system upgrade programme and any enhancements of the system
• Drive the disaster recovery programme
• Support and coordinate requests for both internal and external audits and in requests for proposals (RFPs).

Technical Skills

• Technical proficiency in SQL, coding & user interface creation
• Advanced knowledge of Yardi report development and report types (scripted, YSL, YSR, SSRS, Custom Analytics)
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager schema
• Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines
• Good communication and negotiation skills, to manage expectations
• The ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure
• Excellent skills in complex stakeholder management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the tenacity, confidence and resilience to deliver high quality results
• Good facilitation and analytical skills
• Application of quality management principles and processes

Relevant Experience

• 8-10 years Yardi Voyager system experience
• Proven track-record of successful delivery of critical projects

Education

• Educated to at least degree level
