Job Description: Front-End Developer

We are looking for a Front-End Developer with 1-3 years of experience in HTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript, React who is dedicated to his craft, writes code that he/she is proud of and can hit the ground running.

The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites and applications specifically in front end.

You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using HTML, CSS, Angular, and JavaScript. You will be hands-on in writing code, unit tests, and performing peer code reviews.

You will work with a team of project manager, Senior Developers, Software Testers and customer stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable and maintainable software solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced/trained industry professional with strong core technical skills to join and add value to a dedicated and friendly team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including but not limited to jQuery.
  • Experience with any JavaScript frameworks like Knockout, ReactJS,Vue, AngularJS, BackboneJS.
  • Ability to write documented, structured and maintainable code.
  • Ability to integrate the application with third-party services using REST APIs with formats like JSON, XML.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as figma.
  • Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver.
  • Proficient with Git.

Front-End Developer roles and responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement new designs.
  • Optimize existing user interface designs and development.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives.
  • Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions.
  • Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements.
  • Create prototypes for new product ideas.
  • Test new ideas before implementing.
  • Conduct an ongoing user research.
