The VMware eCommerce team is looking for a full-time eCommerce Operations Specialist to support web store management, including extensively testing new enhancements/modifications, coupon code management, and overall operational support of the web store, team and strategy.

Job Role & Responsibility

  • Daily support of overall webstore maintenance, updates and testing
  • Supports eCommerce case queues; resolve and respond to as needed.
  • In-depth, end-to-end testing of any site enhancements, product additions, promotions or any other site modification(s).
  • Support coupon/promotional code program (create, modify, test, track)
  • Support the maintenance of HTML-based email notifications
  • Support Online Renewal Notification email/upsell program
  • Performs quality audits to ensure all products and product data appearing on the website is present, relevant and accurate.
  • Troubleshoots reported web store problems, resolves or escalates to support entity as needed. Identify possible solutions to management.
  • Communicates with Design team to ensure banners on site are up-to-date and relevant; supports site banner updates as needed.
  • Engages Translations Team to get sales copy translated into required languages.
  • Supports the execution of product discounts, bundles and promotions
  • Supports promotional calendar by readying sites with promotional content and pricing. Testing fully before launch.

Required Skills

  • 1+ years experience supporting the administration of an eCommerce site; Magento a plus
  • 1+ years working knowledge of order/payment management systems; Digital River experience a plus
  • Experience with creating in HTML, CSS, some JavaScript formats
  • Strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects concurrently; is process-oriented and exhibits organizational skills.
  • Possess a technical aptitude and analytical mindset with problem-solving skills; comfortable learning data analysis tools.
  • An appreciation for creating great digital customer experiences based on best practices and trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals across all organizational levels required

Preferred Skills

  • Strong project management skills
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics and SEO best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Digital, Marketing, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience working with global teams and external development vendors
  • Proficient in Excel. Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies is a plus
