Explain the vision for this role; What is the primary need, technical challenge, or most significant problem you are going to solve?

we are currently working to improvise the end user experience to help improve the productivity right from the day one. This effort involves updating end user onboarding process, adding new productivity features, adding support for mixed infrastructure (public cloud, on-premises, hybrid, containers), and improving the observability of applications running on the end users device. As part of the windows management team you will be involved in writing code, design and development of enterprise level software. You will be owning engineering initiatives and champion a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.

Within the first 6-12 months, what are the 2-3 most important performance goals I would be expected to complete for you to consider me successful in this role?

You will need to produce software design and implement the same for new use cases helping windows management business.

You will need to produce design for resilient systems delivering best employee experience.

You will be regularly evaluated on the quality of the product you create and the code you write to ensure continued advancement of your technical skills in an environment that looks to expand them.

What type of work will I be doing? What assignments or requirements* will I be performing on a regular basis? What are my deliverables?

• You will design software and write code in C# .Net
• You will develop applications using WPF, UWP, MVVM, Windows Service, Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS and related libraries
• You will develop secure code with strong encryption and PKI parctices
• You will implement and improve processes around DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD with testing frameworks like MSUnit / XUnit / NUnit, tools like Bamboo, mocking frameworks like JustMock/Moq
• You care and have strong RESTful API design, including API versioning, backwards compatibility, authentication.

This role will be reporting to the Manager, Engineering. Our teams focus is on challenging the status quo by innovating but at the same time getting stuff done.
