Senior Mts- Automation-devops Engineer Job in Vmware

Job Description

• Work closely with Engineers to understand product changes, involve in product design, implementation and prioritize testing.

• Component development, framework development and also work on entire software lifecycle (req analysis, design, develop, test and maintenance).
• Open bugs, fix the product bugs and verify/close bugs.
• Ensure our software meets feature, stability, performance and backward compatibility requirements.
• Automating the tests and coming up with appropriate test plans.
• Explore, research and Build POCs and testbed configurations (Virtual and Physical)

• Required Skills:

• B.S or M.S in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years as a Test Engineer with experience in automation using REST, Python, Java, JJB (Jenkin Job Builder) and Experience in writing automation at API level.
• Tested and delivered multiple releases of enterprise products

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience testing large scale networking and distributed systems.
• Experience testing for scalability and performance, and designing/integrating large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of networking, Virtualization, datacenter configurations, systems knowledge and software.
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere, NSX, VSAN and APIs.
• Understanding layer6, layer7 protocols, understanding of IPSec, SSL VPN, datacenter network topologies, stretched networks, DNAT, SNAT, firewalls
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
