Job Role and Responsibility:

We are searching for a talented, dynamic, hands-on Application Administrator with K8s experience.

You will work closely with a team who manages microservices, docker, PCF etc and play a key role in ensuring the best possible customer experience.

In this role, you will support more than 20 critical portals which has 99.99% SLA.

• Support platform like PCF, K8s, PKS, Docker, microservices
• Automation of day to day activities by using Python/Shell
• Work closely with development team and provide solutions for infrastructure requirements.
• Communicate with internal VMware teams, both onshore and offshore, VMware customers and partners.
• Work independently and effectively within and across teams

Required Skills:

• 1-4 years relevant experience
• Design and installation experience on Container technology (Docker), Kubernetes.
• Have handled at least 2-3 large scale Kubernetes deployments, management, administering and monitoring in on-premises/cloud.
• Scripting and automation experience must
• Solid knowledge and demonstrated support of Linux RedHat server, BIND DNS, ESX Server, Virtual Center, NFS, LDAP, and SAN/NAS storage systems in a virtualized environment
• Solid problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, and problem solvingskills
• Expertise on Java Virtual memory (JVM) heap size performance fine tuning
• Direct experience with configuring and tuning JDBC connections
• Solid verbal and written communications skills, working effectively with IT support teams, management, and internal users
• Experience with MySQL, Oracle databases, Linux environment will be preferred
• Works well both independently and as part of a team; attention to detail is essential for this position
