Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Product Consulting:
    • Regularly interact with existing clients to discuss their products/projects outlook and apply your analytical, technical, product & commercial knowledge to proactively propose useful & valuable ideas that improve the client s product or solve one of their business problems (also after a specific project has been closed).
  • Software Development Process Touchpoints:
    • Your main role is to discuss & review requirements shared by the client, add them into a prioritized backlog (cultivation of product feature pipeline) & pick items from this backlog for further specification up to a level where a Solution Architect can process it further (to develop/implement the feature, or to come back with a possible solution first, as applicable).
  • Planning and Estimation:
    • Requirement Gathering: Gather requirements from clients about a specific new feature or for a technical problem/bug. The help of a Business Analyst (BA) can be availed in case of larger scopes.
    • Functional Analysis: Scrutinize any requirements received from the client by cross-checking for any logical flaws/shortcomings and check for a more efficient alternative idea/solution.
    • Estimation and/or SA Analysis: After functional analysis, request an estimation of the feature (if needed), else put the item into the Solution Architecture phase.
    • Define Software Development Process Flow: Define the overall process flow, such as staging deployment, QA phases, estimations, milestone releases, etc.
  • Quality Assurance & Delivery:
    • Conduct Fit-for-Purpose checks on deliverables after QA before releasing them to clients.
    • Inform clients about the release and schedule the deployment to production.
    • Conduct post-delivery review of a product with learnings and things that have gone well.
  • Financials & Billing:
    • Handle rate & budget negotiations with clients & prospects while applying your vast know-how about potential engagement models.
    • Manage project revenue and prepare P&L for management for ongoing projects.
    • Raise regular invoices to clients as per time spent/project progress & manage follow-ups for uncleared invoices.
  • Customer Success Manager & Primary Point of Contact:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for the client and involve other team members as needed.
    • Continuously monitor client satisfaction and secure a consistently high CSAT score.
    • Proactively anticipate potential grievances and take action accordingly.
  • Pre-Sales & Client Re-activation:
    • Liaise with the Business Development team to acquire projects and reactivate previous clients.
    • Assist in client acquisition through professional and subject-matter expertise.
  • Strategic Positioning & Continuous Improvement:
    • Share findings about market shifts/trends and methodologies with focus groups within the organization.
    • Identify & validate trending relevant processes/tools and inform seniors & DSIE (Department for Strategic Innovation and Excellence).
  • Team Management:
    • Handle team members & attrition rate, maintaining high morale and employee satisfaction (ESAT).
    • Align the team with the company vision and strategy, organizing team-building activities.
    • Assist HR in team appraisals, hiring, and probation of direct reporting team members.
  • Content Provider:
    • Provide presentations on the latest technology trends and processes.
    • Write blog articles/posts and represent the company in relevant communities.

Candidate Profile

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to structure and organize information to prioritize attention, solve problems logically, and break down complex issues.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience in handling complex, enterprise-level projects (not just MVPs).
    • Knowledge of Agile development, CI/CD, Test Automation, DevOps, and related frameworks.
    • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and tools like JIRA, Asana, Slack, etc.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills:
    • Exceptional English communication and presentation skills (IELTS 6.5+).
    • Ability to engage and communicate with clients and teams effectively.
  • Interpersonal, Intercultural & Leadership Skills:
    • Experience in leading teams and fostering a sense of ownership among team members.
    • Ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Availability to Travel: Willingness to travel abroad for business meetings and project execution (no more than 30 days/year).

Required Skill Set & Experience

  • B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level software development.
  • Advanced knowledge in your technical specialty and strong understanding of development tools like Git, IDE, etc.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proactive in anticipating challenges within project requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies and tools like JIRA, Asana, Slack.

Good to Have Skills

  • Experience in handling Ecommerce, Web, Mobile, DevOps, QA, or emerging technologies.
  • Development experience in Magento, PHP, or open-source technologies.
  • Knowledge of Headless Architecture (PWA, SPA) and mobile platforms (React Native, Flutter).

Qualification :
B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA in Computer Science or equivalent
