Responsibilities
Develop, Maintain & Enhance Applications:
- Build and maintain robust applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, EF Core, and related technologies.
API Development:
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication across systems.
Containerization & Deployment:
- Utilize Docker and containerization techniques for efficient deployment of applications.
Software Design & Architecture:
- Strong grasp of OOP concepts, MVC, and Design Patterns for scalable application design.
Database Design & Querying:
- Leverage expertise in MS SQL or MySQL to design database schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity.
Performance Optimization:
- Implement caching mechanisms to enhance application performance and responsiveness.
Collaborative Development:
- Work with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, and other developers) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Technology Leadership & Mentorship:
- Stay updated with the latest in the .NET ecosystem and emerging technologies, applying them to projects as appropriate.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
Cloud Platforms & Architecture:
- Experience or familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and microservices or serverless architectures.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies.
- Expertise in C# and .NET Core.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable distributed applications.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MS SQL/MySQL) and caching mechanisms.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from conception to delivery.
