We are looking for a young and ambitious individual to drive our market share and to build the pipeline for our sales organization. You will also be responsible for running regional campaigns focused primarily on cold calling, developing and qualifying leads to the point of handoff to the sales force. A key requirement is to conduct business dealings with prospects/customers in a way that creates a superior customer experience that will set the stage for future product sales. A typical workday is comprised of using various internet based research resources to locate prospects for the company s services and making 60-80 calls to prospective companies to engage key contacts. In addition you will be calling those people who have requested information about the problems we solve. Your tasks Making 60-80 calls per day to build and manage lead development pipeline Can do attitude modesty is not your strong suit! Prospect into multiple organizations via cold-calling, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, and utilizing Internet information sources Articulate our value proposition to decision-makers in the Direct Sales industry to assess buying interest Support the VP Lead Generation / Marketing in the lead generation process (e.g. analysis of mailing) Achieve or exceed goal for evaluations and first meetings on a monthly basis Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects Provide weekly activity report to VP Lead Generation / Marketing Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of our technology and its benefits Update lead rank/stage and prospect interaction in CRM Your profile 1-2 years business experience Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solution sets Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening and cold-calling Ability to converse with and influence the client organization you get to the decision-maker somehow!
