Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Planning for supply side functions and coordination with COB/CMB demand planner and procurement group Co-ordinate with COB/CMB marketing to arrive at a list of prioritized supply orders to be communicated Set inventory norms and update the norms on a quarterly basis Represent Supply side in the Pre Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) alignment meeting for arriving at production plan scenarios Generate timely indents through MRP Followup with Procurement group and update plant for the timing of supply and make line plans agree on line plans accordingly with production group Work with procurement and production group and give each other the latest information on developments and align necessary changes in the plan Contribute in development of IT systems for business to support supply planning processes and ensure that the MRP system can be extended for smooth functioning of planning processes Technical Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge of the FMCG/ Personal Care Products industry, Knowledge of spreadsheet applications like MS Excel, SPSS, etc.. Knowledge of various forecasting tools and techniques Overall Knowledge of Supply chain planning with in-depth conceptual knowledge of Production, Procurement and Inventory Norm setting Strong negotiation and relationship management skills Proven ability to build, sustain, and influence relationships, at all levels of an organization Strong planning and decision-making skills Strong Analytical skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to invoke change
