Job Description

We are looking for a highly capable Node.js developer to optimise our web-based application performance. You will be collaborating with our front-end application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions.

Qualification

Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Job Requirement

• 4 to 7 years working in back-end web development.
• At least 3 years of experience in NodeJS technology.
• Experience with server-side templating languages like handlebars or ejs.
• Solid experience in Express.js.
• Experience building robust RESTful APIs.
• Experience integration of third party API or WebServices.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases like MongoDB, MySQL
• Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git.
• Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently in projects.
• Fluency in both oral and written English.
• Solid Understanding of agile methodologies.
• Good to have knowledge in microservice architecture and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software with a scalable and strong microservices orientation.
• Work with other team members to devise the best possible technical solutions to complex problems.
• Participate in the collection of requirements, give estimations, propose different approaches and make analysis documents.
• Bring code quality and good practices, and perform deployment, validations and verification testing.
• Stay up-to-date with open source trends and emerging technologies.
• Teach and mentor fellow engineers, and work to foster an environment of development and inclusivity.
