Job Summary

The primary responsibility of a Shopify Developer is to create an engaging and efficient Online Shopify Store for driving Revenue and Sales. Shopify Developer s main task will be to design customized Shopify themes and alter existing templates to meet defined benchmarks for brand recognition.

Key Responsibilities

• In charge of developing for the development of the Shopify Plus platform and themes, as well as the liquid programming language and related apps

• Design UX is based on the brand s style, guidelines, and branding standards.

• Integrate system components that are essential for our success

• Contribute to the development of open-source software, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, and standard web technologies integral to building seamless multi-channel experiences

• Expertise in security and personal privacy principles and GPDR

• Designing testing strategies and troubleshooting issues related to eCommerce issues

• Conducting root cause analysis and determining/developing corresponding action items

• Use advanced debugging techniques, and use developer tools for browsers.

Requirements

• Experience in creating, launching, and managing stores, in addition to general knowledge of the administration system

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript With a deep understanding of DOM

• Experience working with a customized theme or Storefront API

• Experience with Shopify s theme method and Liquid templating

• Experience with implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating custom solutions if necessary

• Knowledge and understanding of vanilla JavaScript, the jQuery framework, ES2015/ES6 as well as the most recent JavaScript frameworks

• Experiential experience with Shopify s objects/properties AJAX API and Meta fields

• Uses browser consoles and external tools for testing and debugging

• Experience with developing responsive layouts on a desktop tablet, mobile device, or desktop

• Experience working with third parties and APIs, specifical plugins for Shopify

• The ability to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback to team members and peers

• Effective skills in organization
