Job Description

We are looking for a Software Tester capable of designing test suites and should have the ability to understand usability issue. Software Tester is responsible for designing testing scenarios for usability testing. This includes performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Your primary responsibility will be involving in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment. Thus, possessing a good knowledge of software Development Life Cycle is essential.

Required Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Knowledge of programming languages like PHP.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect life cycle.
• Test the product or system to ensure it functions properly and meets the business needs.
• Experience in designing test plans, test cases, and scenarios as per requirements provided.
• Experience performing end-to-end application testing: requirement validation, functional, integration, regression, user acceptance testing, and defect management.
• Experience in working with Agile Scrum model.
• Experience in Web Service Testing & Mobile App Testing.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
• Good Analytical Skills.
• Work with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management.
• Set up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
• Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to the quality risk and report it to concerned people
• Track and log defects during execution.
• Basic knowledge of API automation using tools like SoapUI, POSTMAN. Experience in Rest-assured will be added advantage.
• Reproduce customer problems in the local environment.
