Position Overview

WhiteMagic Fashions, a leading fashion company based in Ernakulam, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of the organisation. As a Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the company.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support the company's growth objectives.

Accounting and Reporting: Manage all accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Prepare and analyse financial statements.

Financial Analysis: Provide in-depth financial analysis, including cost analysis, revenue analysis, and variance analysis to support decision-making.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimise the allocation of funds.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and taxation laws.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop risk management strategies.

Team Management: Supervise and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support.

Financial Audits: Coordinate and oversee financial audits and work with external auditors as needed.

Strategic Financial Guidance: Collaborate with the senior management team to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic planning.

Financial Systems: Implement and maintain financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).

Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial leadership role.

Strong knowledge of financial principles and regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a finance team.
