Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, executing and improving the test plans, and implementing test automation. You will be working closely with the engineering team.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure that our products are awesome and of high quality.
• Design and implementation of internal automation tools for QA.
• Formulate test strategies for upcoming and existing projects.
• Writing and maintaining automation tests - functional, API
• Interacting with the Dev, Customer support, Product teams
• Talking about your work - we love open source software, we heavily use them and by talking about how we use them is the least we can do to help the community. See our engineering blog.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience working in the field of quality assurance.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools is desirable.
• Well versed in all aspects of Test Automation like functional etc. using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Protractor, Cypress, etc.
• Experience of using *NIX (Unix, Linux, etc) is good to have.
• Should have knowledge of browsers and user interface design techniques.
• Knowledge of MySQL is an added advantage.
• Experience in testing Web Applications.
• Experience in API testing.
• Experience in testing products in at least one of JavaScript, PHP, Python, etc.
• Well versed with internet technologies and infrastructure.
• Performance testing, working on JMeter is a strong plus.
• Knowledge about Selenium Grid and related infrastructure would be an added advantage.
• Contribution to open-source projects related to QA is a strong plus.
• Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethics.
