Job Summary
Role Purpose: The purpose of this role is to analyze, identify, rectify, and recommend improvements to enhance the organization s security posture and protect sensitive information. Key Responsibilities: Cybersecurity & Incident Management: 1. Security Monitoring: Safeguard log sources and security access. 2. Disaster Recovery: Plan recovery strategies for security breaches. 3. Attack Monitoring: Track and monitor for intrusions, unauthorized activity, and attacks. 4. Log Reviews & Forensic Analysis: Conduct moderately complex log reviews to identify unauthorized access. 5. Risk Analysis & Security Assessments: Perform security assessments and root cause analysis of incidents. 6. Incident Handling: Handle escalated incidents in a 24x7 rotational shift system. 7. Threat Detection: Use advanced tools to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities. 8. Attack Analysis: Analyze attacks and recommend remedial actions. 9. Incident Reporting: Create reports and dashboards based on incident analysis. Stakeholder Coordination & Audit Support: 1. Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues and provide recommendations. 2. Risk Register Maintenance: Maintain the security risk register and assist with audits. 3. Security Awareness: Assist in the creation and delivery of cybersecurity training for employees. 4. Email Security Guidance: Provide advice on spam and malicious email issues. Stakeholder Interaction: Internal: Regular updates with Technical Leads and Security Intelligence teams. External: Coordination with customers regarding security breaches and resolutions. Required Competencies: Functional Competencies: 1. Leveraging Technology: Expert-level knowledge of current and emerging technologies for efficiency in cybersecurity. 2. Process Excellence: Mastery in following standards to ensure risk control and consistency in results. 3. Technical Skills: Mastery in network security, firewalls, SIEM, application security, and vulnerability assessments. Behavioral Competencies: Effective communication, collaborative working, execution excellence, and problem-solving skills. Performance Parameters: 1. Customer Centricity: Timely resolution of security issues to improve user and customer experience. 2. Process Adherence: Adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and response times.
