Technical and Marketing Content Writer

  • Work with internal stakeholders to obtain an in-depth understanding of the deliverables/product and the documentation requirements.
  • Produce high quality product requirements documents or presentations.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with overall business objectives and maintain a high degree of quality through self-proofing and adhering to the WiSilica style and voice.
  • Write easy-to-understand user interface content, online help and developer guides.
  • Work with HubSpot or similar applications to create manuals / tutorials for our solutions for customers.
  • Standardize content across platforms and media.
  • Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers.
  • Ensure available content is properly leveraged throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate content writing, publishing and updating schedules for internal content libraries.

Required Skills/Experience

  • B Tech in CS/EC/EEE with a good flair in English.
  • Or Bachelors Degree in English with minimum of 3 years in writing and editing experience for corporate documents in English and is a technical enthusiast.
  • Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation (Like API guides, User manual) etc.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and easily represent them in text and images.
  • Strong visual design, brand, and user experience instincts.
  • Basic Understanding on Mobile Application Development environment (iOS / Android) and Cloud. Excellent presentation creation and delivery skills with aid of MS office tools or similar.
  • Strong research and writing skills (English), with good document editing and clean up skills.
  • Able to take ownership and work independently.
