Job Summary

Job Description The incumbent would work closely with global pharmaceutical and biotech companies & and would be contributing to the following areas: Forecasting and Market Assessment Data analysis using various databaseRoles and Responsibilities summary:The incumbent would be working in a team of qualified analysts to help clients achieve their desired goals. The key deliverables of the role include: Forecasting: Well-versed in forecasting (preferably Oncology) with hands-on experience in:o Top-down and bottom-up approacho Patient flow modelling (preferably in Oncology)o In-line (strategic and tactical) forecasting for marketed assetso Understanding business objectives and developing models addressing the business need and capture strategic drivers and assumptionso Ability to analyze life sciences datasets like claims data, electronic medical records / prescription data / sales / Market Research outputo Ability to understand and develop market scenarios after understanding the competitive environmento Market Assessments / Indication Prioritizationo Understanding of time-series and regression models is a pluso Ability to run Monte Carlo simulations / different market scenarios to capture market uncertainty is desirable Data analysis using various database: Understanding of key database like IQVIA, Clarivate, and IPSOS Secondary research: Good secondary research and interpretation skills to find out relevant Epidemiology, Pricing and other parameters required for developing a forecast model Exposure to the US forecasting is desirable with an understanding of the following concepts:o Ex-factory vs. demand forecastingo SKU level, inventory forecastingCore competencies: Quick learner & ability to grasp new concepts Good sense of logic / logical reasoning & ability to do basic arithmetic flawlessly Excellent business presentation skills coupled with effective communication & comprehension skills in English Ability to work in a team and co-work with colleagues with a process-oriented mindset Advanced Excel skills with VBA Ability to work with and guide 1-2 analysts Ability to quickly learn the changing dynamics of the global pharmaceutical and biotech industry Ability to adhere to timelines and develop high quality deliverablesMust have Skills: Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Excellent Communication (Written and Verbal), Analytical Skills, Problem solving, Work as a teamGood to have Skills: Excel modeling, Power BI/Tableau, Experience in Oncology therapy area, Stakeholder Management Qualifications Highest Education: Graduate / Postgraduate from a Premiere College with strong academic performance Candidates with pharma background [B. Pharm, M. Pharm, B. Tech/ M. Tech in Biotechnology
