About your role:

The selected candidate will be required to start immediately in Chennai. The candidate should have 2 to 3 years of work experience and is expected to have adequate understanding of public bus transit operations in India as well as electric bus technology and infrastructure

How your day will unfold:

The candidate will undertake and oversee a range of responsibilities as are listed below:

The candidate should have 2 to 3 years of work experience and is expected to have adequate understanding of public bus transit operations in India as well as electric bus technology and infrastructure. The main responsibilities will include government liaison, and primary and secondary research and analysis in the areas of sustainable and public transport. Would be an added advantage if he/ she can converse in Tamil. The candidate must have experience working with MS Excel and other statistical tools, mapping and data visualization tools and have excellent writing and inter-personal skills.

Qualifications we seek:

  • Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Planning.
  • Master s degree in Transport Planning
  • 1-4 years of work experience working with Govt. Agencies in Project Implementation.
  • Experience in the field of bus based public transport projects.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi is a must. (Reading and Writing)
  • Proficiency inquantitative and qualitative data analysis is a requirement.
  • Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD and MS Office is a requirement.
  • Ability topresent complex information in a clear and concise manner, think creatively, work calmly and enthusiastically.

Salary and Benefits:6,50,000 to 7,50,000 CTC PA

Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.

Duration:Full-time, term hire for a period for 1 year ( extendable based on performance and project requirements)
