Xanthus is seeking a Quality Control/Testing Professional to join our Team

Responsibilities

• Participate in Requirements and Project meetings.
• Analyzing application features and integrations for needed test coverage.
• Work closely with Project teams and provide functionality testing support.
• Provide Test Estimates for the testing activities assigned.
• Create Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Checklists, Test Cases, Test Data and RTM needed to ensure the quality of these features and ensure full Test Coverage.
• Ensure Testing covers all aspects of the application
• Well versed in SDLC methodology and look for opportunities of QA Process Improvement and follow QA Best Practices.

Must Haves:

• Experience in a Software QA role (3+ years) is a must.
• Experience working in engineering teams using agile methodologies.
• Experience testing REST APIs
• Experience testing cloud hosted services
• BA/BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, conflict management and motivation skills.
• Good understanding of automation frameworks and support automation efforts and maximize QA capacity across different projects testing support.
• Deep understanding of and experience of varied Automation development tool sets (e.g Selenium, Cucumber, SOAPUI, TestNG, Sikuli, NUnit, Coded UI, UFT, PostMan, LoadRunner).
• Proficient in database technologies and concepts
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, as an advocate for technology solutions and collaboratively work with both internal and external teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving, decision-making skills, with proven ability to design pragmatic solutions.
• Passionate about current information security, privacy, technology and new trends.

• Experience developing test automation is a plus.
