Job Summary

What We Have In Store For You:

A. Quality Parameters:
  • Participate as an active and core member of the Scrum team to ensure quality is built into products and take exposure to Agile Development Methodology.
  • Participates in Sprint planning and collaborates with the Product Management team.
  • Exposure to tools like Selenium Web Driver, Postman, Jmeter, GIT and Analytical tools (any).
  • Exposure to the development code repository and DB architecture.
  • Defining quality standards and metrics for the product and sending crisp and clear status reports to all the stakeholders, post review from team managers and taking appropriate actions accordingly.
  • Planning functional and nonfunctional testing -Focus on the data that is being communicated back to stakeholders, from your findings as part of testing the data should be in the context of how the behavior observed is detrimental to the objective of the feature or application being developed.
  • Finding and arranging behavioral, functional, non-functional training needs for the team.
  • Should be a single point of contact for the QA team for all the escalations related to testing and Quality assurance.
  • Create and Reviewing test cases, test scenarios, product documents base on software requirements and technical specifications, and appropriately prioritize testing tasks and test cases.
  • Participate in Bug triaging and measure to prevent them.
  • Ensuring several quality improvement tools like Unit Test, RCA Addition etc. are part of the development cycle, in case of conflicts resolve via upper management.
B. Leadership:
  • Leading a QA team with a time size of 3 to 5 team members and responsible for their growth and development using appropriate parameters to evaluate.
  • Make the QA team aware of the Quality matrix and resolve all the queries.
  • Possessing good Leadership qualities and having the ability to uplift the QA team performance with motivating and appreciating the team members and advocating Servant Leadership.
  • Keep raising the bar and standards of all the quality processes with every version release.
  • Communication and maintaining cordial relationships with the development team and US counterpart for delivering quality products.
  • Initiate succession development.
  • Promoting solution-oriented and congruent approach

You Fit The Bill If:

  • 8+ years of relevant QA/Manual Testing technical experience along with about 2 years of team handling experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Testing Concepts, Defect Management, Test Case writing and Reviewing of test cases.
  • Excellent with Testing Strategies and leading a project/ module from the front.
  • Excellent in Functional and Web-Based Testing,
  • Exposure to Performance testing, API testing and Mobile Testing.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining automation scripts with any of the automation tools.
  • Possessing good Leadership qualities and having the ability to uplift the QA team performance with motivating and appreciating the team members and advocating Servant Leadership.
  • Good Database Knowledge, writing, and executing the queries.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining QA team metrics.
  • Good knowledge of the Agile Framework.
  • Detail orientation with good organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Should be up to date with testing technology offerings in the market for the business.

Good To Have:

  • Experience with creating scripts using Selenium Webdriver.
  • Experience with using Jmeter and creating the load testing scripts.
  • Experience in using the PostMan tool for testing the Rest API.
  • Exposure of CI/CD pipeline.
  • Participated in an interview panel and trainers panel.
Experience Required :

Minimum 8 Years
