Designation: Analyst II, IM Security (what will be the local designation/Title)


Location: Kochi


Experience: 5-12 years


Qualification: B. Tech /MCA and Security Certification Preferred, CISSP, SANS, GSEC, CISA, etc.


Timings: 1 PM to 10 PM(IST)



Purpose:


  • This role will specialize on vulnerability management, leveraging technologies, techniques, and methods as they pertain to thedevelopment of and execution of information risk controls and management strategies to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability and relevant compliance of information systems.



Primary Responsibilities:


  • Maintain a cohesive program of processes and tools to facilitate assessment, communication, and remediation of vulnerabilities as they are discovered per program operations, collaborating with the service supplier supporting programexecution.
  • Maintain environment documentation through the tools lifecycle as well as operational procedures with service suppliers. As business needs evolve, to lead the strategic planning and ideation of security tools that aid in the objectivesto manage IT security risk to systems and software.
  • Enforce policy and standards regarding vulnerability remediation, validating the same through monthly and quarterlyreporting in a meaningful way to at least 2 audiences, IT practitioners and senior management. Experience in the securitymanagement of shared services across various platforms with various technologies and value chain partners in datacenter environments is preferred.
  • Collaborate with community of risk analysts, as warranted.


Qualifications & Education Requirements:


  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Uses discretion to identify & resolve complex problems with minimal supervision as well as in collaborative team environments
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on fact based reporting/summaries using technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills with diverse communities (technical and non-technical)


Preferred Skills


  • IT and/or Security Certification Preferred, CISSP, SANS, GSEC, CISA, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing business requirements.
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Collaborative tracking of gap closure and remediation plans with internal and external contacts/suppliers
  • Facilitation of the vulnerability management plan for shared processing environments, including response to quantifiedrisks, which may involve acceptance, transfer, reduction or elimination.
  • Assist with the development of agreed upon countermeasures and contingency plans.
  • Monitor status of risks, and reports status and need for action to senior management.
  • Demonstrate effective communication of security issues to business managers and others.
  • Carries out specific assignments related to the technical specialism, either alone or as part of a team.
  • Maintains knowledge of the technical specialism at a detailed level and is responsible for own personal growth and technical proficiency.
