You are required to have skills in the following areas:

  • Overall 8+ yrs of experience in the IT Industry.
  • 4-6years of experience in ITSM Based ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow Developer experience with 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow GRC and SecOps application,
  • Hands-on design, development, and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Design, Develop, and Implement solutions for ServiceNow GRC and SecOps.
  • Experience in Service-now custom app development.
  • Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include modifications of applications, forms, workflow, interfaces and any other customization required to support ITIL processes
  • Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow.
  • Experience in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
  • Experience with User Interface (UI) Policies/Actions, Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Glide Application Program Interface (API) stack - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system
  • Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow with Other Applications
  • Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
  • Strong scripting experience with Javascript, Glide script, Jelly script, Ajax script, and UI macros
  • Experience in develop UI forms, fields, notifications, workflows
  • Experience in creating and use update sets to move customizations between systems
  • ServiceNow Implementation Experience is a must and should have worked on 2 3 GRC and Secops implementation projects
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Deep understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools; ability to work hand-in-hand with Project Manager and Solution Architect
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.

Desirable Skills:

  • ServiceNow certifications like Admin, GRC, and SecOps Implementation and Development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Client facing - determine their technical and business requirements ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
  • Demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers, both onsite and remote meetings
  • Generation of product demo scripts and scenarios and maintaining demonstration environment(s)
  • Produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the cost savings and business benefits to clients of using ServiceNow
  • Assume responsibility of Interfacing with the implementation/project team, articulating customer requirements, to ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Deliver
  • Ability to demonstrate ServiceNow products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge
  • Participation across the sales lifecycle on acquiring strategic customers
  • Provide mentoring and training to peers, colleagues, and partners
  • Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospects
  • Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
  • Staying current on product developments/releases to a level required for demo and POC/POV
  • Supporting Marketing events user conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.
  • Act as the ServiceNow subject matter expert at Executive briefings/marketing events
  • Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between ServiceNow and its competitors
  • Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, security etc.
  • In collaboration with Sales and Professional Services, conduct transition briefing - communicate commitments and expectations in preparation for deployment.
