Job Summary
    As Commercial Manager, your charter of duties would include the following:
  • Work a KAM (for Sales) and also develop Sales.
  • Act as point of contact with various customers to ensure business understanding
  • Liaison with technical team, sale support team and other members of the organisation to ensure solutions to customer needs
  • Providing advanced information to technical team on execution, negotiations and securing orders.
  • Maintains professional technical & commercial knowledge by attending suitable forums.
  • Work with contract Managers.
  • Resolves issues with contracts and commercial operations.
  • Communicates with parties in a contract so that all understand the terms, particularly, a contract s financial aspects.
  • Lead role in advising around pricing for commercial contracts.
  • Taking a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise.
  • Ensure that the organisation complies with contractual obligations.
  • Negotiate new projects and contract terms with new clients.
  • Lead role in advising around pricing for commercial contracts.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements :
Qualification: Any Graduation with MBA in Finance or Operations from a reputed university. (Preferably with Engg. background)
Age preferred - 35 to 40/42
Experience- Min 5 years (Preferably of Marine industry).
A proven and successful track record in (Commercials) Sales, Purchases, preferably with an negotiation scope.

  • Should possess Commercial knowledge
  • Ability to drive the Purchase and Sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Preferable to have experience in Marine Equipments for offshore and ship building industry for selling & purchasing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for business as required.
  • Willingness to visit shipyards, ship owners, marine consultants, engineering cos. Offshore vessel owners like, Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, Indian Ports, Oil & Gas companies etc.
  • Up-to-date on industry trends as well as laws and regulations.
  • Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team.
  • Superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Advanced negotiations, influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.

Remuneration will be as per Marine Industry Standards.
