What will I be doing?

In this role you will be working closely with senior members of the Connected Solutions Team to ensure we are driving successful outcomes for our clients. You will gain valuable experience and develop a broad skill set through your on-the-job responsibilities, specifically:

  • Data Fluency: Become knowledgeable of our syndicated tools (BrandIndex, Profile, Signal, and more), gaining a deep understanding of the user interfaces and the data behind it.

  • Quantitative Survey Data: You will learn how to design data and visualize it using Survey data, such as segmentation, funnel analysis, media mix analysis, and more.

  • Domain Expertise: You will blend (or learn to blend) this research with knowledge of how branding, marketing, strategy, and/or business decisions are impacted by our data.

  • Analytic Application: Design and deliver re-occurring Insights reports to clients addressing their core insight needs, including (but not limited to) Brand Tracking, Market Sizing, and Audience Identification & Profiling

  • Insights Discovery & Story Telling: Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations, addressing client s ad hoc business questions

  • Data Visualization: Using YouGov Crunch, Thinkcell, Tableau, PowerBI and more, you will integrate multiple datasets into one dashboard to tell your stories.

  • Internal Collaboration: Partnering with Account Management and Sector Leads to provide a positive client experience that promotes partnership growth

Qualifications

What do I need to bring with me?

This is an entry-level to early-career stage role, with qualifications focusing more on competencies than prior experiences. The applicant should be interested in the market research industry and data analytics

Desired Competencies:

  • Enthusiastic, a willing and quick learner with a drive to succeed

  • Strong communication skills and ability to craft a persuasive narrative

  • Uncompromising attention to detail

  • Project management and organizational skills focused on managing a process start to finish

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Effective team player, eager to collaborate with teammates and clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree or higher. A degree in a data, analytics, marketing or a research field is a plus (i.e., economics, psychology, business, marketing, market research, analytics, etc.)

  • Need1- 3 years experience

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office s Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of at least one data visualization platform preferred (Tableau, PowerBI, other)

  • An eye for detail and ability to put together accurate deliverables in a timely fashion

Nice to haves:

  • Prior work experience as a researcher or analyst, or experience of converting data into stories

  • Experience of working on client-facing projects

  • Understanding of SQL a plus; not required

  • Understanding of R a plus; not required
