The Role
YouGov are looking for a Business Analyst to work closely with our panel delivery team, focused on improving the accuracy and efficiency of our delivery tooling. This role will suit a person who enjoys building a deep understanding of a product or topic, who wants to have an impact on client satisfaction. You will be based in India.

What will I be delivering?
In this role, you will:

• Work closely with our Panel Delivery team, our Technical Operations team our Researchers and our Client Executives
• Analyse current delivery processes and tooling, and make proposals to improve their accuracy and efficiency
• Translate user requirements and business objectives into clearly defined user-stories and features
• Use data and evidence to inform product and development decisions
• Write technical requirements, application documentation and user guides for internal applications
• Triage issues and tickets for the team
• Replicate any bugs encountered by users as needed in order to analyse them
• Identify patterns in bugs or issues to detect underlying problems
• Occasionally test new features and code to ensure optimal end-user experience, supported by the quality assurance team

Demonstrated knowledge and experience

• Comfortable in a technical environment and working remotely
• Strong time-management, prioritization and organization skills
• Enjoy working within a close-knit team and building in-depth knowledge of a particular area and application
• Experience working as part of an Agile team, comfortable working independently
• Experience as a business analyst, or within a role with a focus on making improvements to internal processes and tooling using objective analysis and data to contribute to key decisions
• Very good written English communication skills, with good spoken English so you are comfortable presenting your findings to other team members
• Experience of, or interest in, the world of international online survey research would be of benefit
  

Technical skills and qualifications

• Confident use of remote working tools such as Zoom, Miro, Jira, Confluence and the Microsoft suite
• Understanding of Python and Java frameworks
• Bonus points if you have Business Analyst qualifications!
