Job Summary General Information Job Title: Business Development Executive Division/Department Security System & IT Services Reporting Relationships Reports to Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities Job Summary
  • Responsible for sales of High-End integrated Security Solutions including CCTV systems, Access Control systems, Commercial and Residential intruder Alarm systems, Gate Barrier Systems, Intercom Systems, Home Automation Systems etc. by ensuring that the systems installed and response mechanisms meet the overall client expectations and are in line with set standards of the Company.
  • Sales of Enterprise IT solutions and other IT services to individuals and businesses

Main Responsibilities
  • Identifying, appointing, categorizing, and taking appointments with Customers, dealers and distributors for product education and selling.
  • Examines customer s home, Shops or offices and analyzes customer s requirements to recommend security or IT systems to meet customer s needs.
  • Create detailed Quotations, Negotiate all Terms & Conditions of the Sale such as Price, Costs, Delivery & project completion period.
  • Build relationship with Clients through Direct Sales, emails and Social Networking.
  • Maintain superior & long-term relationship with customer contacts and Decision Makers through managing and interpreting their requirements.
  • Initiate, run and follow up on Business Development activities to grow the business in the Market.
  • Increase revenue by actively promoting company s new and existing products and services to potential Commercial and Residential Clients.
  • Prepare sales presentations to prospective customers for promoting company s range of products & Services and perform necessary follow-up for successful closing of the sale.
  • Search for new clients for selling company products or services and maximize business in designated regions.
  • Proactively work with technical teams to discover, initiate and follow-up progress of projects.
  • Visiting the client after installation to foster an ongoing relationship that could lead to future business.
  • Actively builds networks with contacts and partner companies that can contribute to company s success.
  • Work under general direction toward predetermined short- and long-term goals.
  • Shall be responsible for collecting the payments from customers, dealers and retailers.
  • Keep detailed record of daily activities, prepare weekly reports, monthly sales reports and attend regular meetings with Managers.
  • This covers the key responsibilities to be performed, but is not all inclusive. It does not preclude other responsibilities from being assigned and undertaken
Job Requirements Educational Qualifications & Certifications
  • MBA Degree/ Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Certification of Security System manufacturers
Experience

  • Minimum Three (3) years of experience in sales and previous work experience in the security system/IT industry.
KPAs
  • Existing & New Client Engagement.
  • External customer service satisfaction.
  • Meetings that convert to opportunity and the pipeline Number of deals closed.
  • Speed and accuracy of response to queries and issues internally and externally.
  • Number of new Customers and Business Growth.
Skills
  • Understanding of the Security systems /IT methodologies and equipment
  • Understanding of Security Systems/ IT policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of security systems and technologies (CCTV, Access Control, Security Alarms etc.)
  • Vast knowledge on Marketing and knowledge to make site surveys sales proposals etc.
  • Bold and confident personality to approach new people.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal & written & presentation skills.
  • High degree of initiative and energy to achieve company goals of meeting or exceeding sales target.
  • Excellent time management, Customer service, organizational skills and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a multitasking environment and to work in variety of Industrial conditions.
  • Excellent computer skills, MS windows applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint )
