• API Testing: Perform thorough API testing to ensure proper integration, data exchange, and functionality between mobile applications and the associated APIs. Test Planning and Execution:

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements, user stories, and design specifications, and execute tests accordingly for both mobile apps and APIs.

• Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues using bug tracking systems, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution for both mobile apps and APIs.

• Functional and Regression Testing: Perform functional testing to verify that the mobile application and associated APIs meet specified requirements, and conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after updates or changes.
  


• Usability and User Experience Testing: Evaluate the usability and user experience of mobile applications, considering factors such as user interface, navigation, responsiveness, and overall satisfaction, while also considering the impact of API integrations.

• Compatibility Testing: Test mobile applications across various devices, operating systems, screen sizes, and network conditions to ensure compatibility and consistent performance with integrated APIs.

• API Integration Testing: Verify the seamless integration, data flow, and functionality between mobile applications and associated APIs to ensure a smooth user experience and data consistency.

• Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance testing to assess mobile application responsiveness, scalability, and resource usage, and simulate load conditions to evaluate system stability and performance under heavy usage, considering API interactions.

• Test Documentation: Prepare comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports, for both mobile apps and APIs to ensure clear communication and maintain a record of testing activities.

• Test Environment Setup: Collaborate with the development team to set up and configure test environments, including test devices, emulators, simulators, and necessary test data, considering API dependencies.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices for mobile app and API testing, and contribute to the improvement of the testing process and quality assurance standards.

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the development team, project managers, API developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and coordination throughout the testing process.
  

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing of mobile applications, with a strong focus on API testing, preferably within the mobile app development industry.

• Mobile App Testing Expertise: Strong understanding of mobile app testing methodologies, best practices, and tools, with hands-on experience in manual testing for iOS and Android platforms.
  


• API Testing Experience: Proven expertise in API testing, including verifying data exchange, integration, and functionality between mobile apps and associated APIs using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or similar.
  


• Test Case Design and Execution: Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile app and API testing, and executing tests to ensure functional and seamless integration.

• Bug Tracking and Reporting: Experience using bug tracking.
