Job Description Software Lead (Cloud)
Zenatix is looking for a passionate and experienced software lead (5-8 years experience) for its cloud team that is developing and managing the end to end IoT stack. The person will be closely working with the senior folks, including the CTO.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead diverse development on the cloud side (both backend and frontend) and the DevOps of cloud infrastructure.Improve upon the existing software services and tools in place to equip them to be scalable to handle 10x the IoT data traffic that Zenatix currently supportsExploit current services architecture for the future development of new applicationsEffective leverage as a lead by both being hands-on at some times and working towards making the whole team most effective at other timesSet aggressive timelines and work within the team as well as with external teams (hardware/ product) to ensure that timelines are metImprove upon the existing processes around code reviews, reducing code baggage, testing, hiring, documentation etc.Understand and improve upon the tech and overall culture at ZenatixQualifications and Experience:
Applicants must have:
Bachelors/Masters degree in CS/ECE from a top-tier institute or equivalent practical experience majority of which should be in product-driven software companies.Full-stack development experience with at least 3+ years experience in each of Python/Django, Javascript (React/Angular) and DevOps (Docker/K8S etc.).Experience in building microservices and event-driven applicationsExperience in relational and NoSQL databasesGood understanding of algorithms and data structures along with experience of putting them into practice for gaining code efficiency.Strong understanding of web-services with experience in scaling them up at the production level. The person should have experience of leading a cloud product that has scaled up with equivalent yearly expense on infrastructure to be more than USD 100k+/annumPrior experience of DevOps (CI/CD pipeline; managing containers etc.)Prior experience in managing at least 4+ member teams.Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervisionIt is an added bonus for the applicants to have:

Compensation and location
The position is based in Gurgaon. Compensation will be at par with industry standards.
