Job Summary
We are looking for a Backend Developer (contractor) responsible for the development and maintenance of Backend systems for a key product. The Backend systems include spark based pipelines, python based reporting & APIs. Your primary focus will be integrating new customers and adding new features. You will be working with cross functional teams and will require regularly syncing with them. Therefore, a commitment to deeper understanding of the product, continuous improvements and cross functional collaboration are essential.
What you need to do :-
Ensure the availability and SLAs of pipelines and APIsAdd features and improvements to spark jobs and APIsDebug reported issues, identify bottlenecks and come up with fixesHelp in maintaining code quality, automatization and release processDirectly collaborate with cross functional teams
What you need to have :- At least 2+ years of experience working on spark At least 4+ years of experience working on pythonExperience using PostgreSQLExperience with python web frameworks, e.g. Flask, Django- Experience with AWS services, especially S3, Redshift, ec2.Experience with developing RESTful APIsProficient understanding of code versioning tools like GitFamiliarity with continuous integration and release processExperience of collaboration in cross functional and cross geography environments
