Zendrive is working towards making the world a safer place to drive. We do this by building products and writing code that processes terabytes of driving-related data in real-time, collected through smartphone applications.
This core data is managed by the Zendrive Data Platform team. The platform drives the insure-tech and driving safety products that Zendrive is building for enterprise customers.
Are you the Engineering Manager that can lead this team and lay the groundwork for meeting the needs of emerging markets?
What we expect of you :-
We expect you to manage and coach teams of highly skilled engineers at different experience levels. You should be able to :
- provide technical expertise in the analysis, architecture, design and delivery of large-scale enterprise-grade platforms, products and APIs- set standards for engineering rigor and help cultivate an engineering-driven culture- drive engineering strategy and vision for the product - work closely with customers and product managers - innovate, prototype, and adopt new software and technologies as needs arise
What you should possess :-
- A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline- 10 years of relevant work experience in solving large, technically challenging problems and in building technology driven products
It will be good to have:
-3+ years of experience in technical leadership and execution of complex, cross-functional problems-3+ years of experience in managing a team of software engineers with focus on motivation, growth and productivity-Experience in designing and developing distributed systems for large scale and complex use cases-Excellent C++, Java and/or Python skills
