Job Summary

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in the IT industry of which a minimum of 2 years should be as a manager
  • Experience managing infrastructure in a software development environment
  • Excellent Good experience with Linux and Windows server operating systems
  • Should have excellent knowledge in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, Azure AD connect,
  • Should be capable of handling technical escalations and should have troubleshooting skills
  • Exposure with Cloud providers like AWS, Google, and Azure
  • Should be proficient in configuration and troubleshooting of networking and security devices like switches, routers, firewalls, WAF, etc.
  • Should have excellent knowledge in the implementation and troubleshooting of VLANs, VPN, routing protocols
  • Should have a proven track record of setting up servers and services for High Availability and Load balancing
  • Should be familiar with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of database systems like MSSQL, MySql, and Postgres
  • Should have good knowledge of OS and patch deployment automation
  • Should be able to independently manage software licensing compliance
  • Experience in the procurement of hardware and software assets is a must
  • Liaising with vendors for support
  • Good knowledge in software development tools like version control systems like GIT, TFS, Azure DevOps and AWS Code Commit
  • Will be responsible for backup and disaster recovery of the infrastructure. Good knowledge in those areas is a must
  • Familiar with ELV systems like Biometric devices, CCTV, etc.
  • Should be able to manage a team of system administrators
  • Good communication skills
  • Asset management, both software, and hardware will be the responsibility of this candidate
  • Exposure to information security standards like ISO 27001
