Key Responsibilities

• Experience with developing/implementing web applications built on PHP technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to other team members as required.
• Development responsibilities include doing code review / bug analysis, analyzing development and impacts.
• Coordinate With co-developers and keep project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serve as a liaison between development staff and project manager.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards by conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor and train team members on Laravel best practices and emerging technologies.
• Provide effort planning estimates for application change requests and defect resolutions.
• Run daily stand-up meetings as required and in concert with the program technical lead.
• Assist in establishing and updating application release plans.
• In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX. Added advantage if you know any of: Angular JS, NodeJS, MongoDB, Yii, experience with ecommerce, payment gateway, SQL schema design & REST API design.
• Manage and perform Web application deployments.
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and provide resolutions in a timely fashion.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.

Skills Requirement

• Previous working experience as a Laravel developer for 4 year(s) with team leading.
• Be responsible for creating a work environment that inspires and motivates, and is a place engineers thrive in.

• Prior team handling experience.
• Understanding all the Client s requirements and creating a project plan accordingly.
• Great verbal communication skills.

• In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel 8 PHP Framework.
• Hands on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design.
• Excellent knowledge of RDBMS concepts and database designing.
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Prior experience in handling a team.
• Ready to adapt / learn a new programming language / tools / framework based on project requirements.
• Able to provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.
• MySQL profiling and query optimization.
• Problem-solving skills and critical mindset.
