As a Senior Backend Engineer, you ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying backend services, setting best practices, and collaborating closely with Tech, Design, and Business teams to shape the future of Zostel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Django and manage PostgreSQL databases.
- Implement DevOps practices to enable smooth deployment and operations (experience with AWS preferred).
- Integrate blockchain technology and develop smart contracts using Solidity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and products.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency with Django and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Basic knowledge of blockchain tech and Solidity development is a plus.
- Ability to understand and customize existing codebases.
- Portfolio or links to products you ve worked on is a plus.
- Passion for innovation and building new products.
