Application Sustenance- Java Job in Zycus

Description

Zycus is looking for Application Sustenance professional, someone strong in providing App Support, continuous monitoring and should be good in Java.
• Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
• Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve product issues
• Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
• Prepare accurate and timely reports
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
• Proactively intercept issues through use of various monitoring and DevOps tools
  
• Should be able to script well in at least one programming language
• Hands on knowledge of Linux systems and bash scripting
• Knowledge of Java ecosystem
  
• Good working knowledge of Database, APIs, protocols (like Rest, SOAP, JMS), JSON/XML
• Closely working with developers and QCs in troubleshooting issues
• Excellent communication skills to interact with management and present incident summaries

Requirements

• Experience of 2+ years in software development and support
• Scripting knowledge required
• Knowledge of working on java applications is a must
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace etc. required
• Good knowledge of working incident management systems like Salesforce and JIRA required
  
• Knowledge of Database querying and basic data analysis required
• Should have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  
• Must be comfortable to work in both Windows and Linux environments
• High level knowledge of web-based technologies like HAProxy, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat is advantageous.
• Knowledge of build tools and CICD (Maven, Jenkins) is advantageous
• Good knowledge of java ecosystem is advantageous
• Good communication and written skills are must
