Job Summary

Job Description:

Candidate responsible to generate business for Intermediates from MNC and big generic customer.

Needs to drive business in multi geographical regulated markets, along with key accounts for future business.

Continuously demonstrate and build long term relationship with key customers

Define strategy with senior management of API business with support of market data.

Till the time business of intermediates is established, candidate will also take care of some of key customers in India

To update internal stakeholders with appropriate product portfolio for above markets.

Collaborate with internal departments and customers to ensure on time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and business development for Intermediates and India Market.

Regularly communicate with existing customer for business development.

Generate new customer database of pharmaceutical industry and start communication and arrange personal meeting on suitability.

Manage & co-ordinate with logistics, quality team and inspection agency for logistic and quality control.

Co-ordination with R&D, IP, RA, Quality, Manufacturing for existing and new business.

New product identification and viability in co-ordination with R&D and production departments.

Promote organizational capabilities to new and existing clients to create new business towards the achievement of target annual goals.

Prepare / update annual business plan/ budget, including market trends and competitor data.

Knowledge and Skills requirement:

Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, etc) and understanding of chemistry for techno commercial marketing.

Must have good communication skill and interpersonal skills.

Must have good chemistry background with business development skill.

Ability to develop and maintain short to long-term strategic forecasts and plans to increase efficiency and profit.

Ability to work in a cross functional teams set up

Sound knowledge of regulations specific to markets

Should be self-starter and ability to build long term relationship with key customers.
