Job Summary

Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive design solutions for highway and transportation projects.
Conduct thorough engineering analysis and feasibility studies to assess design options, considering factors such as traffic flow, safety, environmental impact, and cost-effectiveness.
Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for highway projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools to create accurate and detailed design layouts.
Perform geometric design, alignment design, pavement design, and drainage design for highways and related infrastructure.
Ensure that designs incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, addressing stormwater management and minimizing ecological impact.
Participate in site visits and field surveys to assess project conditions and gather relevant data for design purposes.
Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and technicians to ensure the timely completion of design projects.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in highway design technology.
