Job Summary



This is a HR Services Specialist I - PA (People Analytics) role, reporting to the Team Lead and will be based in Bangalore. As a core member of the People Analytics (PA) Data & Insights team, you will be responsible for delivering HR Service support to the HR community, business managers and employees. you will be providing a high level of support for internal customers, with accurate and timely processing of information for all stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

  • Working with team to solve complex business problems using data analytics and reporting.
  • Extracting data and reports from various HR systems like SAP, use data to supply analysis and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Automating ETL process for specific needs, owning the quality checks and on time delivery of all reports.
  • Building reporting and analytics solutions from scratch, and have a strong bias towards creating clean, powerful, user-focused visualizations to deliver insights and analysis. Technologies used could vary from Power BI, Advanced Excel, VBA or any other new technologies.
  • Interacting with Global ABB leadership to seek and provide meaningful and actionable insights in all interactions.
  • Expected to be constantly on the lookout for ways to enhance value for your respective stakeholders/clients.
  • Executing strategic projects to help ABB drive excellence in people, performance and culture

Your background

  • Bachelor/Master s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in consulting/ shared services with strong data analysis techniques
  • Candidate should possess Can-do attitude with excellent quantitative skills, with an ability to work on large datasets. He / She should be able to generate actionable insights from data analysis that translate to valuable business decisions for the client.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining dashboards/ reports providing diagnostic and forecasting view using VBA, PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and can build story with fragmented data, zeal to learn new technologies and continuous improvement.
  • Highly proficient in MS office with excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate and partner effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to multitask to deliver to cross-functional teams.
  • Workday reporting and analytics knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and implement the learning in an innovative manner.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills required to work in a global virtual work environment: self-starter, self-motivated and able to work with specific, but minimal direction.
